Directions to Thoreau Institute

From the North:

Headed south on Rt. 495, take Exit 29 and head East on Rt. 2
Pass the junction of Rt. 2A with 2, continue easterly on Rt. 2
Pass through the 4-way intersection of Sudbury Rd/Potter St. and Rt. 2, continue on Rt.2
The next major 4-way intersection is that of Walden St/Concord Rd. and Rt. 2
You want to turn Right at this intersection onto Concord Road, MA 126
Watch for Baker Farm Drive on your left. It takes off at the end of the Walden Pond State Reservation. Drive to the end of the Baker Farm Road.
If you get to Baker Bridge Road you have gone too far

From the East:

Approach I-95 via MA Rt. 2. Cross I-95 headed West.
Continue on Rt. 2 until you see the intersection of Walden St./Concord Rd. with Rt. 2
Turn left onto Concord Rd. (MA 126). Continue until you see the Baker Farm Rd. on your left.
Turn left onto Baker Farm Rd. and continue to the end to the Thoreau Institute.

From the South:

Make your way to Wayland, MA at the intersection of MA 20 and MA 126.
Follow MA 126 North, eventually crossing MA 117. Continue heading N on MA 126
Watch for Baker Bridge and next Baker Bridge Rd. on the right
Pass Baker Bridge Road and continue a short distance on Rt. 126 to Baker Farm Rd.
Turn Right on Baker Farm Drive and continue to the Thoreau Institute.

From the West:

Come eastward on Rt. 2 and cross over I-495
Continue following Rt. 2
Pass the junction of Rt. 2A with 2, continue easterly on Rt. 2
Pass through the 4-way intersection of Sudbury Rd/Potter St. and Rt. 2, continue on Rt.2
The next major 4-way intersection is that of Walden St/Concord Rd. and Rt. 2
You want to turn Right at this intersection onto Concord Road, MA 126
Watch for Baker Farm Drive on your left. It takes off at the end of the Walden Pond State Reservation. Drive to the end of the Baker Farm Road.
