M. Wing Goodale, senior science director at the Biodiversity Research Institute in Portland, will provide an overview of offshore wind energy projects on the East Coast, discuss how wildlife — birds and bats in particular— are likley to be affected by offshore wind turbines and what we know about bird movement in the Gulf of Maine.
