Maine Audubon, the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance, and Portland Museum of Art host five wonderful poets for a special night inspired by the exhibition David Driskell: Icons of Nature and History, which opened on Juneteenth and will be at the Portland Museum of Art until September 12. A group of Black poets who live in Maine will share their poems in different locations around Maine Audubon’s Gilsland Farm, near Driskell’s longtime studio in Falmouth.
