COVID-19 forces farmers to take new approaches to satisfy growing demand

Farmer Jill Agnew’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak is to simply grow more food this season after witnessing a rise in foot traffic at her stand. Several farmers are also responding in the same way as more customers shop for fresh veggies — and this uptick in business means farmers are taking new approaches to meet the demand
