Allagash and Penobscot closed to camping for at least another month

MAINE GOVERNMENT NEWS • May 1, 2020

In compliance with the Governor’s order on April 28, all state-owned campgrounds and campsites, including overnight use of the Penobscot River Corridor and Allagash Wilderness Waterway, are closed until further notice, with a target opening date of June 1. As conditions change, this policy may be re-evaluated.
