The Biden administration can restore our wild world

DEFENDERS OF WILDLIFE • January 20, 2021

We won’t be able to undo the damage of the past few years overnight. But today can mark the beginning of the movement toward recovery. We’re calling on our elected officials to chart a new course for wildlife by supporting actions such as:
• Immediately rejoining the Paris Climate Accord;
• Reversing Trump era efforts to undermine our bedrock wildlife protection laws, including the Endangered Species Act, the National Environmental Policy Act and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act; and,
• Putting a stop to the use of federal lands for cruel and barbaric hunting methods, like brown bear baiting and other abuses of vulnerable animals.
