Groups work on solutions to invasive plants, algae blooms in Belgrade Lakes Region

Another invasive plant is spreading toward North Pond, which is already contending with harmful algae blooms, but the 7 Lakes Alliance and several partners are taking a broad approach toward solutions. The goal is to develop a management plan for the pond that prevents severe algae blooms and improves the water quality over the next 10 years.
