Phys.org advances animal personality research

Phys.org shared a news release about new animal personality research from scientists in the University of Maine Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Conservation Biology. In their paper, researchers argue that personality differences that account for varying behaviors within species should be taken into account in ecosystem management. They also provide a four-step process to investigate the role of personalities in modulating ecosystem services.
