There’s a group in Norway, Maine that’s trying to get ahead of climate change. The Center for an Ecology-Based Economy works on the issues of transportation, renewable energy, shelter and food. Scott Vlaun, the group's executive director, says, “We're starting to realize not only is climate related to all these other food, energy shelter issues, but it's also deeply related to social justice issues, racial justice issues. Those frontline communities are the ones that suffer the most from climate, and the ones that have done the least to cause it and the ones that can do the least about it, because they're not in a position to be able to. They don't have the luxury of being activists.“
