If Central Maine Power had used the enormous advertising budget it spent to promote the unwanted hydroelectric Canadian corridor on upgrading its current electrical grid, CMP would now have been prepared for the influx of new Maine solar farm generated electricity (“Solar industry baffled, angry as CMP cites need for costly upgrades,” Feb. 4). ~ Claude Francke, Waterville
