Former Unity College employee sentenced to 2 years in prison for embezzling more than $500,000

Beth Bing, 49, of Waterville, was sentenced to two years in prison Tuesday for embezzling nearly $517,000 from Unity College. She used her Unity College credit card for a wedding dress, gambling at casinos, vacations and more. The college website says its mission is “to be the best environmental college in the world.“
