Papa’s owls taken from Winslow/Benton trail

MORNING SENTINEL • June 30, 2021

This spring my husband carved 15 wooden owls of various sizes and placed them in trees along the Winslow/Benton rail trail. He did this to bring joy to those that walk this beautiful trail. It was fun to find them peaking out at you from little holes in the trees and on branches. If you walk the trail today there is one left. All the others have been taken! It makes me sad that we won’t be able to take our grandchildren on the trail to find Papa’s owls. I wish whoever took them would return them for all of us to enjoy. ~ Susan Boutin, Winslow
