With a loon license plate you can get free admission to some Maine state parks

This Sunday, any Mainers with a loon state license plate will get free access to most state parks. It's a way of saying thank you since more than eight out of every $20 spent on the plates goes to the Bureau of Parks and Land while another $6 or so goes to the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
