Paris applying for solar grant to power electric vehicle charging station

The Paris Board of Selectmen on Tuesday approved applying for a solar grant to supply power to a recreation building and install an electric vehicle charging station at 1 Paris Hill Road. Once the project is completed, people can charge their vehicles for free. The project would not cost the town any money except for installation, which would be mostly covered by the grant.
