Harpswell’s Quahog Bay Conservancy accepting scholarship applications

Funds are now available for two Harpswell high school seniors to receive the Working Waterfront Science Scholarship from Harpswell-based Quahog Bay Conservancy. QBC is a nonprofit organization focused on the rehabilitation of the marine ecosystems in Quahog Bay. Through various programs, QBC aims to conserve natural habitat, protect native wildlife, foster environmental stewards and support Maine’s working waterfront. Two $5,000 scholarships are open to Harpswell 12th graders who are looking to pursue a career in marine biology, etc.
