The case of the missing lynx has been solved

PORTLAND PRESS HERALD • March 22, 2022

A Portland bar full of taxidermy specimens found its stuffed lynx named Lyndon missing and then tracked down a suspect. Now a Massachusetts man, James Ganiatsos, 30, faces a theft charge. Lynx now are a federally protected species, which means there aren’t many stuffed ones, and Lyndon likely was killed years ago, perhaps before his kind were considered a threatened species in the United States.
