Jackson lauds Madawaska Lake resident confirmed to LUPC

The Maine Senate on April 22 unanimously confirmed the nomination of Leo Trudel of Madawaska Lake to serve on the Maine Land Use Planning Commission. Senate President Troy Jackson, D-Allagash, released the following statement in support of Trudel’s confirmation. “Leo’s broad range of experiences and education will be an incredible asset to” LUPC. The Maine Land Use Planning Commission — formerly the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission has broad responsibility for preserving public health, safety and general welfare and extending the principles of sound planning, zoning and development to the unorganized and deorganized townships of the state.
