The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency was assumed by the public to be in the business of protecting the citizens of our once-great nation. It seems that here is another case of a huge government program and waste of taxpayer money for protection that was never being done. PFAS has been around for years, especially prevalent in paper making and various fire safety products. Didn’t some bright government employee of the EPA put two and two together and look at where all this potentially-caustic product was being used, and what the possible end results were? ~ George Fogg, Auburn
