Maine gets $2.5 million from feds for land protection

MAINE ENVIRONMENTAL NEWS • June 1, 2022

The Department of the Interior today announced the distribution of $279 million from the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) for state-identified outdoor recreation and conservation projects. Maine is getting $2,509,890 to support increased public access to and protection for public lands and waters.
