Forest Society of Maine completes Coburn Gore Conservation Project

On Monday, the Forest Society of Maine announced completion of the Coburn Gore Forest Conservation Project. FSM now holds conservation easements on 8,175 acres of forestlands—7,075 acres of working forests and 1,100 acres designated as ecological reserve. The Coburn Gore Forest connects conserved land in Maine to public lands in Quebec creating a network totaling nearly 200,000 acres.
