Firefighters battle stubborn fire that has smoldered over three days in Cundy’s Harbor

For three days, firefighters have been battling a stubborn, 3-acre wildfire that ignited Saturday in Harpswell at Long Reach Preserve. Cundy’s Harbor Fire Chief Ben Wallace Monday morning said, “We need rain.” No firefighters have been injured fighting the fire, which is being investigated by the state forestry service.
