Letter: Don’t forget benefits of the corridor project

BANGOR DAILY NEWS • January 20, 2023

It is important to remember what the New England Clean Energy Connect project offers Mainers. It will lower our energy bills. The NECEC would provide millions in property taxes to the communities the corridor runs through. The project would remove more than 3 million metric tons of carbon from our air annually for 40 years. It would finally move Maine and New England toward a renewable energy future. ~ Paul Mills, Mills Construction Co., Brewer
