Portland starts program to create sustainable neighborhoods

Portland residents are invited to participate in a new program designed to enhance the environmental and social strength of the city’s neighborhoods. The Sustainable Neighborhoods Program will provide support and resources to residents who want to help make Portland a vibrant and sustainable community, said Troy Moon, sustainability director. Two neighborhoods will be selected in the first year of the program.
