Flood warning extended for the Androscoggin River

The National Weather Service extended its flood warning for the Androscoggin River and other rivers in Maine on Tuesday morning. Flooding is forecast for the following rivers:
• Androscoggin River near Auburn affecting Androscoggin, Sagadahoc and Cumberland Counties.
• Sandy River at Mercer affecting Somerset and Franklin Counties.
• Kennebec River at Hallowell affecting Kennebec and Sagadahoc Counties.
• Kennebec River at North Sidney affecting Kennebec County.
• Kennebec River at Skowhegan affecting Kennebec and Somerset Counties.
• Kennebec River at Augusta affecting Kennebec County.
