The octopus is in vogue now, thanks to books and films featuring this sea creature. But its cephalopod cousin, the squid, is just as fascinating. Their jet propulsion makes them the fastest marine invertebrate; their huge eyes work like a camera; they can glow and flash to communicate with other squids.
