Greenfield ATV crash causes serious injuries and ignites wildland fire

An ATV crash Friday left a rider with life-threatening injuries and sparked a small fire in Greenfield, according to the Milford fire and rescue department. After the crash the ATV came to rest against a tree and caught fire, igniting a roughly quarter-acre wildland fire that crews quickly extinguished. The rider was taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
