Maine farming group warns of possible ICE raids targeting farms, workers

The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association is warning farmers to be alert for possible immigration enforcement activity in Maine. In a message sent to farmers on Thursday, MOFGA said it had received information that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids were anticipated beginning Friday, Aug. 21, and potentially continuing through the weekend and into early next week.
