Maine bicyclist sues federal government after being hit by USPS vehicle

Marha Stover was riding an electric bicycle on June 27, 2024, on Atlantic Highway in Warren. She was hit when USPS employee made a right turn onto Camden Road without doing a “proper lookout.” Her collarbone was fractured and surgically repaired with plates. Her lawsuit alleging negligence was filed in the U.S. District Court of Maine in Bangor on Monday. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages, in part for Stover’s injuries.
