Masked bandits ransacked a Maine police department’s dumpster

Masked bandits got more than they bargained for Sunday afternoon when they ransacked the Winslow Police Department’s dumpster. Four raccoons found themselves trapped, but two officers, Ellen Stewart and Josh Chouinard, came to their aid. The officers used a two-by-four to make a ramp, which the raccoons used to return to safety. But the jury’s out as to whether they learned their lesson.
