Gulf of Maine Research Institute is helping Hannaford assess its climate risk

Hannaford Supermarkets is embarking on a pilot project with the Gulf of Maine Research Institute to map the vulnerabilities of two of its coastal stores to climate change. It's the first time Hannaford has evaluated how sea level rise and coastal flooding will affect its operations and ability to serve the community.
