84-year-old boater who went missing near York found dead

An 84-year-old boater who went missing near York earlier this week was found dead Friday, according to the York Police Department. Chester Benjamin Wiggins, of Bedford, Massachusetts, was last seen alive leaving Cape Neddick Harbor on a 17-foot boat Tuesday night. The Coast Guard suspended its search Thursday morning, but Marine Patrol and York police officials continued searching via plane and drones and recovered Wiggins’ body Friday afternoon.
