On June 9, from 7:00-8:30 pm, veteran wildland advocate, John Davis, will be making an online presentation: "Rewilding the Northeast." The presentation will be online and free of charge to the public. This is a part of the RESTORE Speaker Series.
John is a longtime RESTORE board member, and serves as the Rewilding Advocate for the Adirondack Council and Director of The Rewilding Institute. He often explores wild places by hiking, paddling, and cross-country skiing. He has documented his long conservation treks in his book Big, Wild, and Connected: Scouting an Eastern Wildway from Florida to Quebec, in Split Rock Wildway: Scouting Adirondack Park’s Most Diverse Wildlife Corridor, and in the TrekWest film Born to Rewild.
