RESTORE is delighted to welcome Renée Seacor, Rewilding Director at Mighty Earth, for an upcoming Speaker Series presentation. Renée brings diverse experience in wildlife conservation, environmental advocacy, and environmental law to her work as leader of the group’s Bring Catamounts Home campaign,

Catamounts (also known as cougars, pumas, or mountain lions) once roamed widely throughout the forests of the Northeast, but were extirpated by the early 1900s. Their continued absence leaves a critical void in the region’s ecology and cultural identity. Renée’s presentation will explore what the restoration of catamounts could mean for forests, wildlife, and communities across the region.
